LACE

Between sophistication, know-how and technicality

A symbol of femininity and refinement , lace occupies a special place in the world of lingerie . Maison Lejaby uses it with rigor and creativity, selecting laces that are as beautiful as they are technical , adapted to the different functions of each piece.

For everyday lines, the House relies on laces, which are more resistant than classic lace, but just as fine and delicate. Elastic laces that provide everyday comfort .

Added to this are two technical laces , at the heart of the iconic lines of Maison Lejaby.

The first is designed specifically for bras: its structure provides optimal support while maintaining great visual finesse .

The second, a wiry lace, is ideal for panties and stockings. Its dynamic hold ensures excellent comfort all day long, without compromising on elegance.

Each lace is chosen to meet a very specific need, which is to enhance the body, support, and accompany everyday life .

An exceptional fabric with many faces

Lace is an openwork fabric, made by interlacing threads to form refined patterns. Far from being a simple ornament, it is the result of true textile know-how and comes in several categories, classified according to their quality and manufacturing method.

There are three main types of lace at Maison Lejaby:

It is produced on old mechanical looms of the same name and is known for its extreme finesse and chiseled patterns . It is also the most fragile, which makes it so precious.

It allows for a beautiful diversity of patterns and a good compromise between aesthetics and resistance.

It is perfectly suited to more basic or technical lines, while remaining just as refined as the previous ones.

Among the most renowned laces is Calais lace , a name protected by the French Federation of Lace and Embroidery. To bear this name, the lace must be made in Calais and produced using Leavers technology . It is a guarantee of quality, a true seal of excellence and French authenticity.
