Maison Lejaby calls the shots for its 130th anniversary

130 years of existence, 130 years of know-how, 130 years of creation: since 1884 , Maison Lejaby (and its illustrious ancestors Rasurel and Lejaby) have accompanied women in their quest for freedom. Through its sense of creativity and innovation this brand from the swimwear and corsetry universe expresses an ideal of beauty and a perfect fit dedicated to femininity.  It embodies the “French-style Designer Spirit”.

To blow out its 130 candles, Maison Lejaby has designed an event on a footing with its history, somewhere between seduction, surprise and elegance, but which also respects  the French-style way of life.

Did you know? “Maison Lejaby mène la danse (calls the shots)” is the name given to this exceptional show which brings together several professional dancers on the stage of the Lido.

The week of corsetry know-how – second edition

From the 15th November 2014 to the 5th January 2015, Maison Lejaby is launching the second edition of corsetry know-how. This year, Maison Lejaby has chosen to discuss the importance of materials and quality requirements.

Although 64% of consumers look for quality in lingerie, they admit to not always being able to recognise it: this second opus of corsetry know-how will now allow them to make their purchases with a stricter eye and real knowledge about the offering.

Since its beginnings, Maison Lejaby has combined the perfect fit with bold designs that dare to be different. For this, the identity-defining finish, in which the interior is as beautiful as the exterior, joins forces with exceptional French and European materials, all guarantees for a bra’s performance as much in terms of durability and support as colour.

It is this search for excellence which Maison Lejaby wishes to share with its clients. For the occasion, the Company has surrounded itself with a crack team made up of recognised suppliers: Noyon for Calais lace, Interspitzen for Swiss embroidery, Lycra for Lycra fibre and Liebaert for Nanostich. An event to be discovered in participating stores.

Maison Lejaby joins forces with Unicef France

For the first time, Maison Lejaby  had the pleasure of taking part in the “Frimousses de Créateurs” by UNICEF France. This charity initiative, created 12 years ago, is held every year at exceptional Parisian venues. After the Palais de Tokyo and the Petit Palais, it was the turn of the majestic Théâtre du Châtelet to welcome the event from the 18th to the 23rd November 2014.

Among a hundred or so works of all kinds: dolls, sculptures, paintings and photographs, Maison Lejaby presented its creation: a miniature version of the tutu dreamt up by the prima ballerina of the Opéra de Paris Agnès Letestu, alongside other major luxury French or foreign fashion houses.

Entirely in lace, macramé and “Swarovski Element” crystals, this mini tutu, made entirely by hand and with stunning delicate workmanship, was sold at auction by Artcurial on 24th November on the stage of the Théâtre du Châtelet.

Did you know? The sum collected from the auction of the Maison Lejaby doll will be donated to the children of Darfour.
